Easily the best meal I had in Lisbon! Everything was perfection, from the cozy ambience and the warm hospitality of the owner, Antonio, to the incredible dishes. The grilled octopus and sea bass were standouts, dynamic yet beautifully simple. The seafood rice and grilled prawns were also amazing. Honestly, order it all. You won’t regret it. A truly perfect dining experience.

We went here for our final night in Lisbon. We were looking for a special restaurant with some authentic local cuisine and found this gem. The waiter was very attentive and welcoming. The food and drink was excellent. From the welcome drinks of port wine to the steak and prawns. Would recommend this place to anyone staying within the area.

10/10 restaurant. The octopus was the best we’ve ever had, and the service was honestly some of the best I’ve experienced anywhere. My favourite moment was when I asked for the wine list and they said, “no, I’ll choose,” then brought out a wine that was absolutely perfect with the food. We were never rushed, even after we’d finished eating. Such a great experience all around.

A cozy restaurant with top notch food and attentive service! Relatively large portions. We made a reservation so no wait. The meal started off nicely with complimentary port! We shared the octopus starter and had one entree each: catch of the day (sea bass), seafood rice, seafood pasta, and meat. Approximately 35/person without alcohol. One of our best meals in Lisbon! One of the best meals we had in Lisbon! The host was incredibly kind and even shared tips for our next stop in Porto. The food was outstanding: the grilled octopus, sea bass, and baked cheese with fig jam were all unforgettable. Knowing these are family recipes made it feel even more special. A true gem. highly recommend!
Dined here tonight and could not have been more impressed and satisfied. Best cooked steak I’ve had in a very long time, and the fried potatoes were perfectly seasoned. The free bread and oil, as well as free alcohol before and after the meal really elevated our experience. Loved the atmosphere, and the server was 10/10.

We started with the gambas ao alho com gengibre (prawns with garlic and ginger), which were HUGE and absolutely delicious. We tried hard not to devour them, but they were so tasty they didn't stand a chance.
Our main course was the peixe fresco do dia (fresh fish of the day), which happened to be sea bream. It was outstanding, to say the least! Needless to say, there was nothing left on our plates.
Our delicious wine from the Douro Valley rounded out our meal.
The cozy atmosphere, extremely reasonable prices and the attentive service made this restaurant all the more special. They even ordered a taxi for us at the end of our meal. I'm SO glad we could eat at this hidden restaurant gem.
We will definitely be back when we return to Lisboa!

Had a great dinner! We had the seafood rice and an octopus dish, and both were delicious. Excellent service. It's very small, so you might want to make a reservation on a busy night. Highly recommend.

Delicious Portuguese family-feeling (sea) food! The clams were incredible, super tasty. Octopus and grilled (big) prawns were also delicious. Interior is small and dark like a wine cellar but quite charming. You have to make a reservation given the limited number of tables (2 shifts, 7:30pm and 9:30pm). Friendly waiter. Recommend!

This was one of our best meals of 2024. The owner greeted us with such a warm welcome, with an aperitif on the house and fish so fresh and so tasty, we didn’t leave a single morsel. And then the lovely owner brought us a fabulous dessert. Wonderful touches like grating Persian salt into the olive oil and decoration was fun (customers leave money in the cracks in the stone walls). Pay by cash or revolut only.
